I saw Gotye live in concert last night thanks to a super cheap Groupon special and, I have to say, I was SUPER impressed. 

Not only is he a great perfomer and drummer to boot, but his voice was no less than pitch perfect for the entire show. He had amazingly relevant yet artistic visuals to go with every song, his band was on point, he was charming and affective with the audience, and at time had me in awe of what was going on in front of me. 

His music is gorgeous without any of the extras, but when you add on the expierence of seeing him live it makes for something truly special. For songs that I don’t even necessarily care that much for (I’m the only one who didn’t fall in love with Someone That I Used to Know), even those gave me unexpected chills and brought a smile to my face. 

He’s definitely made a new fan.
